Flamingo joins the European KiDDIN Project to promote children’s health
Our company is officially part of the European KiDDIN project (Knowledge and Innovation Deployment of Digital Infant Newtech), an initiative funded through the European Union’s Interregional Territorial Investment Instrument (I3). To launch this strategy, the 18 project partners, from various European countries and different innovation ecosystems, recently held their official kick-off meeting in person. This multidisciplinary network brings together hospitals, research centers, universities, and technology companies to develop advanced solutions, digital technologies, and clinical validations aimed at improving pediatric and maternal healthcare.
European collaboration and validation in real-world healthcare settings
This international collaboration, which recently held its first in-person meeting in Córdoba, links expertise in digital skills and the use of artificial intelligence with validation frameworks, IT platforms, and pilot deployments in real-world environments in various countries, including Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Lithuania.
Through our participation in KiDDIN, we are strengthening the company’s presence in innovation ecosystems and clusters, collaborating in interregional networks that seek to transform pediatric treatment standards, improve clinical safety, and responsibly accelerate technology transfer in the European healthcare sector.
